Apparently I lost the definition somewhere in my almost 40 years of being an artist and my several years of being a photographer, but since when did taking 60 (blurry) photos of your vagina and putting them in sepia tone become art? Or worse yet, taking numerous photos of close ups of vaginas or penises ever become art?

I know some will say "but Cee that's considered artistic creativity!" and of course I can agree with that. But I've seen tastefully done nude art on Deviant and other places and I can appreciate that. Posing on a bed or in a field of flowers, or even two naked couples spooning in a bed post coitus can be considered art. It's just when I see what is obvious efforts at being as non-professional towards the genre and the art that I take offense. People who know it will get the most views and shock value for the sake of those views is what bothers me the most.

I won't even get into the kiddie porn I've seen floating around here that DA defends so adamantly by claiming they can't prove those people in the images are children. It kind of worries me that DA may actually be harboring pedophiles and there's nothing we can do or say about it.

I'm far from a prude, leading the life style I do I can hardly say I am a prude but i often wonder if any of these so called artists have any pride in themselves what so ever.
